About Habit's
Habit's is a free habit tracker app built on a simple idea: the tool you use every single day should ask for nothing. No account, no subscription, no ads, and no copy of your data on anyone's server. You open the page, tick a habit, and get on with your day.
Why we built it
Most people don't fail at habits because they lack a plan. They fail because tracking the plan becomes its own chore. Popular habit tracker apps ask you to create an account before the first tick, bury the calendar you actually wanted behind a paywall, or ping you with guilt-tripping notifications. Meanwhile the useful alternative — a printable habit tracker on paper — loses your streak history the moment the sheet goes in the recycling.
We wanted something in between: a notebook that happens to run in a browser. So we built a daily habit tracker that opens straight to today, remembers every completion, shows the streak without shaming you for breaking it, and costs nothing — not "free trial", not "free with ads". Free.
What Habit's believes
-
Local by default
Your habits are written to your browser, not to a database. We could not sell data we never received.
-
Free means free
Every feature — calendar, streaks, insights, backups, reminders — is available from the first tap.
-
Quiet by design
No streak-shaming, no confetti cannons, no pushy upsells. The interface stays out of the way.
-
Progress over perfect
A missed day is data, not a moral failure. Insights show the trend, not a verdict.
How the habit tracker works
Everything is organised into three views. Today is the daily habit tracker: a clean list of what you planned to do, with one tap to mark it done and a progress ring for the day. Calendar is the month view — a habit tracker template in grid form, so you can see filled days, empty days and streaks at a glance. Insights turns that history into completion rates, best weekdays and trends, so you can spot which habits are working and which are just aspirational.
Add habits in seconds with an icon, a title and an optional reminder time. You can export everything as a JSON backup whenever you like, or use the printable habit tracker style grid as a visual template on screen. Changes save automatically to your device.
Who it's for
Habit's is for anyone rebuilding a routine: students tracking study sessions and reading, parents keeping household habits alive, freelancers protecting a morning structure, or anyone working on sleep, water, exercise or screen-time habits. It runs on phones, tablets and desktops, and because it works offline after the first load, your habit tracker is there even when the signal isn't.
Who runs Habit's
Habit's is an independent project — no venture funding, no growth team and no plan to monetise your attention. The site is a static app hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which is part of why it is fast and why it collects so little. Read the privacy policy for the full picture, or head to the contact page if you have feedback, a bug report or a feature request. We read everything.
